brass-pull-out-kitchen-tap-contra-spring-neck
Contra Brushed Brass Pull Out Kitchen Tap | Gold Spring Neck

Brushed Brass Pull Out Kitchen Tap – Gold Spring Neck with Two-Mode Spray

Spring-neck taps usually come in chrome, because the shape started life over catering sinks. In brushed brass the same coil turns warm and deliberate — a gold pull out kitchen tap that looks chosen for the room rather than borrowed from a restaurant. At 520 mm tall it is the first thing anyone sees at the sink, so it suits a kitchen that already has something gold to answer it: cabinet handles, a pendant light, a brass sink.

Lift the spray head from the holder on its side arm and the spring neck flexes after it on the hose, so you can rinse a colander in the corner of the bowl or fill a stockpot standing on the drainer. A switch on the head changes between a filling stream and a rinsing spray, and one quarter-turn lever looks after flow and temperature.

The body is brass, stainless steel and zinc, and the brushed grain softens reflections so fingerprints and water spots show far less than on polished gold. It is a brass kitchen tap built around the spray head rather than the spout, and it fits an ordinary Irish kitchen through a single tap hole with no new pipework.

Before ordering, two checks. The Contra is rated from 1 bar to 3 bar and is not suitable for gravity-fed systems — it needs a combi boiler or pressurised mains to drive the spray. And it rises 520 mm above the worktop, so measure up to any window sill, shelf or extractor first.

Features & Benefits

Brushed brass finish – a warm gold with a fine grain that hides marks better than a polished surface.

Gold spring neck – the professional-kitchen outline in a finish that belongs in a home.

Pull-out spray head – lifts from a side-arm holder and parks back in it, so the hose never hangs loose.

Stream and spray – switch on the head between filling and rinsing.

Quarter-turn single lever – one-handed control over flow and temperature.

35 mm ceramic cartridge – a smooth action with no washers to wear.

Flow straightener – an even stream with less splash.

220 mm reach, 520 mm height – generous room under the head for large pans.

Deck mounted, single tap hole – 600 mm G ½" flexible tails supplied.

2 year manufacturer guarantee – handled by us in Ireland.

Product Specification

Brand

ELLSI (Etal)

Model Name

Contra

SKU

PDT-000595

Product Type

Pull-Out Kitchen Mixer Tap

Mount Type

Deck Mounted

Control Type

Single Lever, ¼ Turn

Tap Holes

1

Finish

Brushed Brass (Gold)

Material

Brass, Stainless Steel & Against white quartz it warms the whole sink run; against navy, green or charcoal units it is the detail people notice first. Brass does want company — one other warm metal in the room — or it can look like the odd one out. Treat the finish gently: warm soapy water, a soft cloth and a dry-off. Limescale remover, descaler, bleach sprays and abrasive pads damage a coated finish, and that damage spreads rather than staying put.
