kitchen-sink-waste-kit-with-overflow-chrome-top-fix
Top-Fix Chrome Kitchen Sink Waste Kit with Overflow | 90mm

Chrome Kitchen Sink Waste Kit with Overflow – 90mm Strainer, Tube and Cover Plates

Many stainless steel sinks have a second, smaller hole near the top of the bowl. That is the overflow, and it needs a pipe running down to the waste, or a forgotten tap ends up in the cupboard. This kitchen sink waste kit supplies both halves: the 90 mm basket strainer waste for the plughole and the overflow assembly that links the two.

The overflow side comes with two cover plates, one square and one round, so the visible fitting matches the shape of the opening already in your sink. A 370 mm flexible tube connects the overflow to a spigot on the side of the waste body, and it bends around the back of the bowl without needing to be cut.

The waste itself uses ELLSI's patented Top-Fix fixing: it drops into the hole from above and tightens through the centre with the supplied 14 mm socket tool against a pre-fitted rubber seal. That is why it suits Irish kitchens where the sink is already in and the cupboard below is full of pipes — the hard part is done from inside the bowl, and the 40 mm (1 ½") outlet then joins the existing trap.

Before ordering, confirm two things: the sink has an overflow hole (otherwise the chrome strainer waste without overflow is the simpler choice), and the steel is between 0.5 mm and 15 mm thick at the waste hole. Both are usually true of an inset stainless sink.

Features & Benefits

Complete kitchen sink waste kit — strainer waste plus overflow in one box.

Square and round overflow covers — fit whichever matches your sink.

370 mm flexible overflow tube that bends to the waste body without cutting.

Fit-from-above Top-Fix waste — tightened from inside the bowl with the supplied tool.

Pre-assembled rubber seal — no silicone needed on the waste.

Removable basket strainer that catches food and lifts out to empty.

Polished stainless steel flange, basket and cover plates.

90 mm sink hole, 40 mm (1 ½") outlet — standard kitchen sizes.

EN 274-1 waste fitting, for sinks 0.5–15 mm thick.

Product Specification

Brand

Top-Fix

Model Name

Kitchen Strainer Waste with Overflow

SKU

PDT-000527

Product Type

Kitchen Sink Basket Strainer Waste with Overflow

Mount Type

Sink waste hole, fitted from above

Finish

Chrome / Polished Steel

Material

Stainless steel & polypropylene

Sink Hole Size

90 mm

Flange Diameter

114 mm

Outlet

40 mm (1 ½") BSP

Sink Thickness

0.5 mm to 15 mm

Strainer

Removable basket with centre lift knob

Overflow

Overflow kit with 370 mm flexible tube; square and round cover plates supplied

Fixing

Top-Fix patented fit-from-above system, pre-assembled one-piece rubber seal

Fitting Tool

14 mm socket tool supplied (drill torque setting 5 maximum)

Trap Included

No – connects to a standard 40 mm trap

Weight

283 g

Certification

EN 274-1:2002

What's Included

1 x Top-Fix kitchen sink strainer waste in polished stainless steel, with pre-assembled seal

1 x Removable strainer basket in polished stainless steel

1 x Overflow kit – flexible overflow tube plus square and round cover plates in polished stainless steel

1 x Top-Fix 14 mm installation tool

1 x Fitting guide

Why Choose a Kitchen Sink Waste Kit with Overflow?

Because buying the waste and overflow separately is how mismatched finishes and incompatible spigots happen.
