shower-tray-waste-90mm-chrome-kartell-fast-flow
Chrome Shower Tray Waste 90mm | Kartell Fast Flow Trap

Chrome Shower Tray Waste 90mm – Kartell K-Vit Fast Flow Waste and Trap

This is the fitting under the plughole of your shower tray: a shower tray waste and trap in one body, finished with a polished chrome cover. Chrome is the safe choice because almost everything else in a shower is already chrome — the valve, the riser rail, the hose, the glass hinges — so the waste simply joins them rather than starting a new finish.

It is a fast flow design, rated by Kartell at up to 32 litres a minute. That matters more than it sounds: a mixer or pumped shower can deliver water faster than a basic waste clears it, and the tray then floods around your feet. With fast flow, water leaves the tray as fast as most domestic showers put it in.

The body is a self-contained trap, so it holds a little water to stop drain smells rising and there is no separate U-bend to fit underneath. The outlet turns sideways to connect to the waste pipe, and the whole assembly is designed to be cleaned from above once it is fitted, which is how you will deal with hair.

Before ordering, measure the hole in your tray. This waste is for trays with a 90 mm waste hole — the size used by almost all modern stone resin and acrylic trays. Older trays with a smaller 40–50 mm hole need a different, smaller waste.

Features & Benefits

90mm shower tray waste with integrated trap — one fitting, no separate U-bend.

Fast flow rated up to 32 L/min, so the tray clears quickly under a mixer or pumped shower.

Polished chrome cover that matches chrome valves, rails and screen fittings.

Cleans from above once fitted — no need to get under the tray to clear hair.

Universal fit for most trays with a 90 mm waste hole.

Side outlet with a compression connection for standard 40 mm (1½″) shower waste pipe.

EN 1329-1:2014 — Kartell self-declares compliance with the European standard for waste pipework.

1 year Kartell guarantee.

Product Specification

Brand

Kartell (K-Vit)

SKU

FFW90

Product Type

Shower tray waste with integrated trap

Cover Finish

Polished chrome

Body

White plastic

Tray Waste Hole

90 mm

Cover Diameter

116 mm

Flange Diameter

121 mm

Body Diameter

92.7 mm

Depth Below Flange

104 mm

Width to Outlet End

150 mm from waste centre

Outlet

Compression, for 40 mm (1½″) waste pipe

Flow Rate

Up to 32 L/min

Weight

330 g

EAN

5055681402266

Standard

EN 1329-1:2014 (manufacturer's self-declaration); made under ISO 9001

Guarantee

1 Year

What's Included

1 x Kartell 90mm fast flow shower waste and trap body

1 x Polished chrome cover

1 x Compression outlet connector

Why Choose a Chrome Shower Tray Waste?

Because it is the finish nobody has to think about. A chrome cover sits in a white or grey tray beside a chrome valve and a chrome rail and simply belongs.
