Antique Brass Kitchen Sink Waste with Overflow – Aged Brass Strainer and Covers

On a sink with an overflow, the plughole and the overflow cover are seen together every time you look into the bowl. This antique brass kitchen sink waste kit finishes both in the same aged, bronze-toned brass, so a traditional kitchen does not end up with one bright fitting at the back of the sink.

The overflow side includes two antique brass cover plates, square and round, plus a 370 mm flexible tube that runs behind the bowl to a spigot on the waste body. Fit whichever plate matches the opening your sink already has.

The waste uses ELLSI's patented Top-Fix fixing. It drops into the 90 mm hole from above and is tightened from inside the bowl with the 14 mm tool supplied, pressing a pre-fitted seal against the sink. Stainless steel sits under the antique finish, the body is polypropylene, and the 40 mm (1 ½") outlet joins a standard Irish kitchen trap.

Confirm that your sink has an overflow opening and is 0.5–15 mm thick at the waste hole. If there is no overflow, the antique brass sink waste without overflow is the one you need.

Why Choose an Antique Brass Kitchen Sink Waste with Overflow?

Because aged brass looks right only when nothing shiny interrupts it. With the strainer, basket and overflow cover all in the same antique tone, the sink sits comfortably with traditional taps like the Astrid dual lever and with bronze or aged-brass cabinet handles. Clean it with a soft cloth and mild soap only.

The same overflow kit is made in brushed brass, chrome and matt black. Every Top-Fix version is listed in kitchen sink wastes, and the rest of the house is covered in wastes.

We ship antique brass kitchen sink wastes across Ireland — Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and everywhere between — with free delivery on orders over €100 and same-day Dublin collection on stocked items by arrangement.

FAQ
Does the overflow come in antique brass too?
Yes. Both overflow cover plates - square and round - are antique brass to match the strainer flange and basket. Only the parts hidden in the cupboard, the overflow tube and the waste body, are black plastic.
What else should match an antique brass waste?
The tap first, then one or two details nearby: cabinet handles, a light fitting or radiator pipe covers. Antique brass varies more between makers than chrome does, so where exact matching matters, compare pieces in daylight before fitting.
Can I fit it with the sink already installed?
Yes - that is what the Top-Fix design is for. Disconnect the trap, remove the old waste, drop this one in from above and tighten it from inside the bowl with the supplied tool. The overflow tube then connects the overflow outlet to the side of the waste before the trap goes back on.
Will it work on a one and a half or double bowl sink?
Each bowl needs its own waste, so a double-bowl sink takes two. The overflow kit connects to whichever bowl has the overflow opening; the other bowl takes the antique brass waste without overflow. Both join the shared trap or connecting pipework underneath.
Why is it sold as Top-Fix rather than ETAL?
Because Top-Fix is its own brand. ELLSI Ltd owns both, but Top-Fix is the daughter brand for its fit-from-above kitchen wastes, while ETAL covers other product lines, including conventional wastes. The code to check is PDT-001567.
