Brass Boiling Water Tap with Pull Out Spray – Gold 3 in 1 with Corner Tank

A brass boiling water tap is a fitting everyone notices on a sink, so it should earn its place twice over. The Cygne does: filtered water at up to 98°C, everyday hot and cold, and a spray head that pulls out on a hose — all from one tall swan neck in a warm brushed brass that most people searching will call a gold boiling tap.

The swan neck rises 462 mm and swivels to a 207 mm reach. Draw the head out and up to 200 mm of hose follows, so a stockpot on the drainer or the far corner of the bowl is within reach; a weight under the worktop takes it back. The brushed grain softens reflections, so fingerprints and water spots show far less than on polished gold.

Hot and cold come from the side lever, boiling water from its own handle. That handle only turns while its push button is held, and springs back to off when released. Boiling water travels on a separate line from the tank; the pull-out hose carries mixed water only.

The 1.8 litre corner tank sits in the back corner of the sink cupboard in matt black, plugs into a 13A socket and holds 75, 85, 92 or 98°C, set on a push-button display that also tracks filter life. The tank is WRAS approved (No. 250604707). The tap needs 1 to 3 bar, so a combi boiler or pressurised mains, not a gravity-fed cylinder.

Why Choose a Gold Boiling Water Tap?

Because the tap you use for every cup of tea might as well be the one the eye lands on. Brushed brass warms up a kitchen of white units, oak or deep green, and it works well when the tone is repeated once more in the room — cabinet handles, a pendant light, a brass sink. Treat the finish gently: warm soapy water and a soft cloth, never descaler, limescale remover or abrasive pads. Our brushed brass guide explains why brushed copes with Irish hard water better than polished.

For a fixed spout and a 2.4 litre tank in the same warm finish, see the Elise 3 in 1 in brushed brass. For the spray head without boiling water, the Cato in brushed brass is a curved pull-out and the Contra in brushed brass a gold spring neck. The Cygne also comes in polished chrome and matt black. Compare every warm finish in brass kitchen taps, or every kit in boiling water taps.

We ship boiling water taps Ireland wide — Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and everywhere between — with free delivery on orders over €100 and same-day Dublin collection on stocked items by arrangement.

FAQ
Some listings say 2.4 litres - which tank is it?
1.8 litres. ELLSI's datasheet for this corner tank, part PDT-000930, gives 1.8 litres; the 2.4 litre tank is the rectangular one ELLSI use with the Elise. ETAL is ELLSI's own trademark, and listings under either badge sometimes mix the two up. The corner shape is the giveaway - this kit always ships with the corner tank.
Is the tank brass too?
No - the tank is matt black on every version of the Cygne. It lives inside the sink cupboard, so in practice nobody sees it, but it is better to know before delivery than after.
Will the brushed brass tarnish around the boiling water?
Not with ordinary care. Hot water does not harm the finish; what wears it is chemistry - limescale remover, descaler, bleach sprays and abrasive pads. Wipe the spout and spray head with a soft damp cloth and dry it, especially in hard-water areas where scale settles at the outlet. Never descale the tap with a bottle from under the sink.
Does boiling water come out of the spray head?
The pull-out hose carries mixed hot and cold only; boiling water reaches the spout on its own line from the tank. Dispense boiling water with the head docked, into a cup or pan held in the sink. The boiling handle needs its button held down to turn and springs back to off when released.
What pressure and power does it need?
Water pressure between 1 bar and 3 bar - a combi boiler or pressurised mains - and a 13A socket in the sink cupboard for the tank. It is not suitable for a gravity-fed cylinder. Our boiling water tap checklist covers the other things to check before ordering.
How much space does the corner tank take?
It stands 450 mm tall (468.6 mm to the top of its connections) on a triangular footprint 245 mm wide and 153 mm deep, so it fills the back corner rather than the middle of the cupboard. Allow 10 to 15 cm of air space at the sides, wall space beside it for the carbon filter, and room under the tap for the hose weight to move freely.
