Anthracite Grey Radiator Pipe Covers and Collars 15mm – Made for Designer Radiators

Anthracite has become the colour of the modern radiator — tall vertical panels in a hallway, column radiators in a kitchen extension, flat-panel designs in a living room. The trouble is that they are usually fitted on bare copper tails, and bright copper under a dark grey radiator looks unfinished. These grey radiator pipe covers are made to close that gap.

The shade is a deep anthracite grey rather than black, so it tones with an anthracite radiator instead of standing out as a separate dark line. Where black covers suit black valves and taps, grey suits the radiator itself.

Each pack covers one radiator: two 200 mm sleeves for standard 15 mm pipework and two collars that hide the hole where the pipe comes up through the floor or out of the wall. The sleeves snap around the existing pipe, so the heating stays connected and nothing needs draining. If the pipe between floor and valve is shorter than 200 mm, cut the sleeve down with a hand saw.

They are uPVC with the colour running through the material, so there is no paint layer to chip at the skirting.

Grey or Black?

Match the covers to whatever sits closest to them. Under an anthracite radiator, grey covers blend into it. If your radiator valves are black, or the room leans towards black fittings, the matt black Enzo covers will tie in better. Not every radiator is grey, of course. For a white radiator the white Enzo set is the one that disappears, and the same covers also come in polished chrome, brushed brass and antique brass.

For the cleanest finish, fit the covers after the radiator is hung and the valves are tightened, so the collars sit flat against a finished floor. Wipe them with a damp cloth; avoid solvent cleaners.
