Brushed Brass Radiator Pipe Covers and Collars 15mm – Gold Covers in Real Metal
If you have chosen brass valves or brass taps, plastic-looking pipe covers undo the effect at floor level. These gold radiator pipe covers are made from aluminium with a brushed brass finish, so they have the cool touch, crisp edges and soft metallic sheen of real metal rather than a coloured plastic imitating it.
The brushed grain matches the soft, matt gold of brushed brass brassware rather than the mirror shine of polished gold. Under a brass radiator valve the pipe, collar and valve read as one finish, carried all the way down to the floor.
Each pack does one radiator: two 200 mm sleeves for standard 15 mm pipe and two collars to close the gap where the pipes rise through the floor. They clip around the existing pipework, so the heating does not need draining and the valves stay where they are.
Because they are metal, trimming is slightly different from the plastic versions: use a fine-tooth hacksaw rather than a wood saw, and smooth the cut edge with fine sandpaper so it sits cleanly against the valve.
