Product description

Tivoli Brushed Copper Kitchen Tap – Warm Rose Tone, Single Lever Swan Neck

Copper is warmer than brass and pinker than gold, and that difference is the whole reason to choose it. This brushed copper kitchen tap puts the ELLSI Tivoli's slim swan neck and rounded single lever in a soft, rose-toned metal finish with a fine brushed grain, so it glows rather than shines.

It works best against colours that bring out the red in it: sage and olive green cabinets, terracotta or warm white tiles, walnut and oak, cream units, or a deep navy that makes the copper look brighter by contrast. Next to cool grey and stainless steel it reads as a bold accent — which can be exactly the point, as long as it is deliberate.

Under the finish it is the same Tivoli as the other colours: a 304 stainless steel body, a 35mm ceramic disc cartridge and a swivel spout that reaches across a double bowl. It runs from 0.5 bar, so it suits a gravity-fed cylinder in the hot press as well as a combi boiler or pressurised mains, and it is WRAS approved.

The copper colour is a factory finish over the stainless body rather than raw copper, so it will not turn green or darken with age the way an untreated copper pan does. What it needs is gentle cleaning, covered below.

Features & Benefits

  • Brushed copper finish — a warm, rose-toned metal with a grain that softens reflections and fingerprints.
  • Single lever control, so one hand adjusts flow and temperature while the other holds the pan.
  • Swan neck swivel spout that clears tall pots and turns across a double bowl.
  • 304 stainless steel body beneath the copper finish.
  • 35mm ceramic disc cartridge for smooth, drip-free operation.
  • Works from 0.5 bar up to 5 bar — gravity-fed, combi or mains pressure.
  • WRAS approved.
  • Single 35mm tap hole, deck mounted, with flexible tails supplied.
  • Will not patina — the colour is a finish, not untreated copper.
  • 2 year guarantee, handled here in Ireland.

Copper or Brass?

Both are warm metals, but they pull a kitchen in different directions. Brass is a yellow gold and leans classic; copper has red in it and leans earthy and a little more unexpected. If your handles, lights or pans are already copper or rose-gold, choose copper so they agree. If they are yellow gold, the Tivoli in brushed brass is the better match, and every gold shape sits together in brass kitchen taps.

Prefer separate hot and cold levers in copper? The Adria in brushed copper sets two levers on a tall curved spout and also runs from 0.5 bar. The Stroud in brushed copper puts twin levers on a squared, modern spout, but needs at least 1 bar. All three sit side by side in copper kitchen taps.

To clean it, use warm soapy water and a soft cloth, then dry it. Copper finishes show water spots less than polished metal, but limescale remover, bleach sprays and abrasive pads will strip the colour, and that damage cannot be polished back.

The same Tivoli body is also stocked in polished chrome, matt black, brushed steel and gunmetal.

FAQ
Will a copper kitchen tap go green?
Not this one. The copper colour is a factory finish over a stainless steel body, so there is no raw copper exposed to air and water to form verdigris. What can damage it is chemistry: limescale remover, bleach sprays and scouring pads will wear through the finish. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth are all it needs.
Who handles the guarantee - you or the manufacturer?
We do. The tap carries a 2 year guarantee, and if anything goes wrong you deal with us here in Ireland rather than posting it back to the UK. You may see the same tap under the ETAL badge, which is ELLSI's own trade mark; the part code to match is PDT-000058.
Is brushed copper the same as rose gold?
Close, but not identical. Rose gold is usually lighter and pinker, often with a slight shine; brushed copper is deeper and redder, with a matt brushed grain. If you are matching to rose-gold handles, compare in daylight before you decide.
Will it work in an older house with low pressure?
Yes. It is rated from 0.5 bar, which covers most gravity-fed cylinders in a hot press, up to 5 bar on combi or pressurised mains. Not sure what you have? Our guide to water pressure in Irish homes shows how to check.
What goes well with a copper tap?
Colours with warmth or depth: sage, olive and forest green units, navy, cream, terracotta tiles, walnut or oak. It also pairs well with a white ceramic or butler sink. Against a mostly stainless kitchen it stands out as an accent - if you would rather it blended in, the brushed steel Tivoli is the quieter choice.
