Product description

Tivoli Brushed Brass Kitchen Tap – Warm Finish, Reliable Function

Add warmth to your worktop with the ELLSI Tivoli, a brushed brass kitchen tap built around a slim swan neck and a softly rounded lever. The brushed gold finish suits both modern and traditional kitchens, and diffuses fingerprints far better than a polished one.

As a single lever kitchen tap it gives precise one-handed control over flow and temperature, which matters when your other hand is holding a pan. The swan neck swivel spout turns across the full width of the sink, so filling stockpots and rinsing large trays in a double bowl is straightforward.

Built on a 304 stainless steel body with a 35mm ceramic disc cartridge, this brushed gold kitchen mixer keeps working quietly for years. Ceramic discs do not wear like rubber washers, so the drip that eventually arrives on cheaper taps simply does not.

WRAS approved and supplied with 1/2" BSP flexible tails, it fits a standard 35mm single tap hole and suits most Irish plumbing from 0.5 bar upwards — gravity-fed, combi or pressurised. One of the better-value brushed brass kitchen taps Ireland has online, delivered nationwide with same-day Dublin pickup.

Why Choose a Brushed Brass Kitchen Tap?

Brass is the finish that warms a kitchen the moment it goes in. Against oak, cream or deeper green cabinetry it reads as considered and slightly luxurious in a way chrome never manages. Because the finish is brushed rather than polished, it also scatters light — so fingerprints and water marks show far less than on a mirror surface.

The one rule with brass is that it needs company. It works best when something else in the room echoes it — cabinet handles, a light fitting, warm-toned wood. In an otherwise all-stainless kitchen a single brass tap can read as an accident rather than a choice; there, the Brushed Steel Tivoli blends far better. The same body is also available in polished chrome and matt black.

Want brushed brass with a pull-out spray instead of a fixed spout? See the Cato Brushed Brass with pull-out spray.

FAQ
Why is the ETAL version of this tap a different price?
Because it is the same tap sold through a different retailer, at that retailer's margin. ETAL is a trademark of Ellsi Limited, who manufacture it - the badge changes, the tap does not. This is PDT-000542; compare that code against any ETAL listing and you will see the match. Our price is set for the Irish market in euro, with stock held here and no cross-border delivery or customs to add.
How do I keep brushed brass looking right?
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it; mild soapy water if needed. The finish is lacquered rather than raw brass, so it will not develop a green patina - but that lacquer is what you are protecting. Bleach, limescale removers and abrasive pads strip it, and once stripped the brass underneath discolours unevenly and cannot be restored.
Does brushed brass go with a chrome sink?
It can, but it needs to look deliberate. Brushed brass works best when something else in the kitchen echoes it - cabinet handles, a light fitting, or warm-toned wood. Against a stainless sink and otherwise all-chrome kitchen it reads as an accident. If your kitchen is mostly stainless, the brushed steel Tivoli blends in far better.
Will it work with Irish low water pressure?
Yes. Rated from 0.5 bar to 5 bar, so it suits gravity-fed cylinders in older homes as well as combi boilers and pressurised mains. WRAS approved. Performs best on a balanced supply where hot and cold arrive at similar pressure.
Does it come in other finishes?
Yes - four in total: brushed brass, polished chrome, matt black and brushed steel. If you want brushed brass with a pull-out spray instead, see the Cato in brushed brass.
What is included and will it fit?
Single 35 mm tap hole, deck mounted, supplied with 1/2" BSP flexible tails and a fixing kit. Usually a direct swap for an existing mono mixer. A waste is not included.
