Product description

Matt Black Tivoli Single Lever Kitchen Mixer Tap – Bold Style, Reliable Function

Add depth and contrast to your worktop with the ELLSI Tivoli, a black kitchen tap built around a slim swan neck and a softly rounded lever. The matt finish suits modern, industrial and shaker kitchens alike, and hides fingerprints far better than a polished one.

As a single lever kitchen tap it gives you precise one-handed control over flow and temperature, which matters when your other hand is holding a pan. The swan neck swivel spout turns across the full width of the sink, so filling stockpots and rinsing large trays in a double bowl is straightforward.

Built as a stainless steel kitchen tap on a 304 body with a 35mm ceramic disc cartridge, this matt black kitchen mixer keeps working quietly for years. Ceramic discs do not wear like rubber washers, so the drip that eventually arrives on cheaper taps simply does not.

WRAS approved under certificate 2009039 and supplied with 1/2" BSP flexible tails, it fits a standard 35mm single tap hole and suits most Irish plumbing from 0.5 bar upwards — gravity-fed, combi or pressurised. One of the better-value black kitchen taps Ireland has online, delivered nationwide with same-day Dublin pickup.

Why Choose a Matt Black Kitchen Tap?

Black is the finish that makes a kitchen look considered rather than merely fitted. Against a white quartz worktop a black kitchen mixer tap reads as sharp and graphic; against oak or darker granite it warms and settles. Because this finish is matt rather than lacquered gloss, it does not show the constant water spotting that catches the eye on chrome around a busy sink.

One thing to plan for: a matt coating will not tolerate bleach, limescale remover or an abrasive cream. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth keep it looking right.

Prefer a different look? The same Tivoli body is available as the Chrome Tivoli Kitchen Mixer Tap for a classic, easy-to-match finish. If you want a warmer metallic with a pull-out spray head, look at the Brushed Brass Pull-Out Kitchen Mixer Tap instead.

Staying with black? If you would rather have separate hot and cold levers, the Adria is the dual lever option that also runs from 0.5 bar, and the Stroud pairs twin levers with a squared spout, though it needs 1 bar. The Cato adds a pull-out spray — see all black kitchen taps, or browse the full kitchen taps range.

We ship kitchen taps Ireland wide — Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and everywhere between — with free delivery on orders over €100 and same-day Dublin pickup available. Every tap is backed by a 2 year guarantee and genuine after-sales support.

FAQ
Will it arrive badged ELLSI or ETAL?
ELLSI. ETAL is ELLSI Limited's own registered trademark rather than a separate manufacturer, and the company sells the same tap under both names - this one is PDT-000056 either way. Our stock is the ELLSI-badged version, so that is the name on the box and on the tap itself. Worth knowing before you order if you have been comparing an ETAL-branded listing and expect that name to arrive.
Will this black kitchen tap work with low water pressure?
Yes. The ELLSI Tivoli is rated from 0.5 bar minimum up to 5 bar maximum, so it works with gravity-fed tanks as well as combi boilers and pressurised systems. It performs best on a balanced supply, meaning hot and cold arriving at a similar pressure. If you are on a very low gravity system in an older Irish home, 0.5 bar is roughly a 5 metre head between the cold tank and the tap. If you want dual levers rather than one, the Adria is also rated from 0.5 bar.
What is a single lever mono kitchen mixer tap?
A mono mixer blends hot and cold inside a single body and delivers them through one spout, fitting into one tap hole rather than two. A single lever kitchen tap controls both temperature and flow with one handle: side to side for temperature, up and down for flow. It is the most practical choice for a kitchen because you can adjust it one-handed while holding a pan or a bowl.
Do you have a black kitchen tap with a pull out spray?
Yes. This Tivoli has a fixed swan neck spout that swivels but does not pull out. If you want a pull-out spray in the same finish, see the Cato Matt Black Pull-Out Kitchen Mixer Tap, which has a dual-spray head on a retractable hose. Choose the Tivoli for a slimmer look, the Cato if you rinse large pans and the sink often. If you would rather have separate hot and cold levers, the Adria and the Stroud are the dual lever options - see them together on the black kitchen taps page.
Does it come in other finishes?
Yes - the same Tivoli body comes in matt black, polished chrome, brushed brass and brushed steel. Staying with black? Compare the black kitchen taps, or browse the full kitchen taps range for pull-out and dual-lever options.
What is included and how difficult is installation?
The tap arrives with a pair of 1/2" BSP flexible tap tails, a fixing kit and instructions. It is deck mounted into a single 35mm tap hole, so it is usually a direct swap for an existing mono mixer. Most competent DIYers can fit it in under an hour with isolating valves in place. A waste is not included. If in doubt, use a registered plumber.
How do I clean and care for a matt black finish?
Wipe with a soft damp cloth and dry it off. Mild soapy water is fine. Never use bleach, limescale removers, abrasive creams or scouring pads, as these will dull or strip the matt coating. In hard water areas simply drying the tap after use is the single most effective thing you can do to keep it looking new.
Why choose a black kitchen tap over chrome?
Matt black hides water spots and fingerprints far better than polished chrome, which shows every splash around a busy sink. It also gives a kitchen a deliberate, designed look and coordinates with black sinks, cabinet handles, appliances and dark worktops. Chrome remains the safest all-rounder, but black is the stronger style statement. If you want the low-maintenance benefit without the strong colour, brushed steel is the middle ground.
Do you deliver kitchen taps across Ireland?
Yes. We ship nationwide - Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and everywhere between - with free delivery on orders over €100. Same-day Dublin pickup is available on stocked items, and every tap carries a 2 year guarantee.
