Inside the brass body is a 35 mm ceramic cartridge on a quarter turn, worked by one lever mounted on top of the column for both flow and temperature. A flow straightener at the outlet gives a clear stream that stays in the bowl. The matt finish hides the water spots and fingerprints that show straight away on polished metal.

One check before you order: the Luxus is rated from 1 bar to 3 bar and is not suitable for gravity-fed systems, so it needs a combi boiler or pressurised mains. It fits through one tap hole on standard G ½" flexible tails.
