Modern Kitchen Tap in Chrome – Straight Spout, Top Lever, Low Profile

The Luxus is a modern kitchen tap drawn with three straight lines: a slim round column, a flat spout that runs out level from it, and a blade of a lever sitting on top. In polished chrome it reads as clean and architectural rather than decorative, and it suits a handleless kitchen, a quartz worktop or an undermount sink where a curved swan neck would look fussy.

It looks taller than it is. The whole tap stands 253 mm from the worktop to the top of the lever — well below a swan neck such as the Tivoli in chrome at 371 mm — yet the outlet sits 195 mm above the deck, so pots and jugs still go under it. That makes it a practical choice under a window that opens inwards, a low shelf or a wall cabinet, where a tall spout would get in the way.

The lever sits on top of the column rather than on its side, so one control sets flow and temperature and nothing sticks out to catch on a wall or window frame. Under the chrome is a brass body with a 35 mm ceramic cartridge on a quarter turn, and a flow straightener at the outlet gives a clear, low-splash stream. The spout swivels a full 360° and reaches 175 mm, which suits a single bowl or a 1.5 bowl sink.

Check your supply before ordering. ELLSI rate the Luxus from 1 bar to 3 bar and list it as not suitable for gravity-fed systems, so it wants a combi boiler or pressurised mains. Fitting is a straight swap for most mono mixers: one tap hole, with G ½" flexible tails supplied.
