Why Choose This Chrome Pull-Out Kitchen Tap?

This modern chrome kitchen tap is engineered for everyday performance while maintaining a sleek, contemporary look. Designed to fit standard kitchen sinks, it is ideal for homeowners searching for pull out taps for kitchen sink use and reliable kitchen sink taps with spray hose functionality.

The durable stainless steel body, easy-clean polished chrome surface, and flexible spray hose make this kitchen mixer tap in Ireland a practical and stylish choice for busy households. The same Cato body is also made in Brushed Steel, which matches a stainless sink and appliances more closely than polished chrome does, as well as Brushed Brass and the bold Matt Black version to suit different kitchen styles.

FAQ
What does the dual spray actually do?
The head has two modes: a normal aerated stream for filling and washing, and a wider spray for rinsing. You switch between them with a button on the head. The spray mode is the one that earns its keep - rinsing suds off a stack of plates or washing down the bowl is far quicker than with a fixed spout.
Is this the cheapest pull-out tap you sell?
Yes. Chrome is the entry point to the Cato range, with matt black, brushed steel and brushed brass costing more, the difference being the finishing process rather than the tap. The Deva Spring is the other chrome option, with a longer reach and a 12-year guarantee.
Why choose chrome over brushed steel, black or brass?
Chrome is the most forgiving choice and the cheapest. Most existing kitchen fittings and appliance handles are already chrome or stainless, so it blends in rather than committing you to a scheme, and it is the easiest to replace later. The trade-off is that polished chrome is mirror-bright and shows water spots. If your sink, fridge and hood are brushed rather than polished, the Cato in brushed steel matches them more closely and hides spotting better.
How do I stop the hose retracting badly over time?
The hose is weighted so it pulls itself back. The usual cause of a lazy retract is the hose catching on the waste trap or a bottle stored under the sink. Keep the area directly below the tap clear and check the weight can swing freely. That one habit prevents most pull-out hose complaints.
Why does the same tap appear under different names elsewhere?
Because ELLSI sells it under two badges and retailers then add their own descriptive names. The manufacturer is ELLSI Limited, and ETAL is ELLSI's own registered trademark, so the identical tap can be listed as a pull-out, a rinser or a dual spray mixer depending on the shop. The part number is what stays constant - this one is PDT-000452C. Match that rather than the product name and you know you are comparing like with like. Ours arrives ELLSI-badged.
What pressure does it need, and will it fit?
Around 1 bar minimum - the spray head restricts flow, so pull-outs ask more of the supply than fixed spouts. Combi and mains are fine; an older gravity-fed cylinder often is not. Fits a standard single 35 mm tap hole and is supplied with flexible tails and a fixing kit. No waste included, and we do not stock kitchen sink wastes. If you would rather not have a hose at all, the Tivoli Chrome is a fixed swan neck at a lower price. Browse all kitchen taps to compare.
