Why Choose This Black Pull-Out Kitchen Mixer Tap?

This pull-out spray kitchen tap is engineered for everyday performance while delivering a refined, modern look. It fits a standard single tap hole, so for most kitchens it is a direct swap, and the spray head handles the jobs a fixed spout makes awkward — rinsing a colander, filling a bucket on the floor, washing down the bowl itself.

The 5 year guarantee is the longest on any tap we sell, and it is worth noting alongside the finish. Matt black is easy to live with day to day because it does not show water spotting the way chrome does, but the coating will not tolerate bleach, limescale remover or an abrasive cream. Warm soapy water and a soft cloth keep it looking right.

Comparing finishes? The same Cato body is also made in Brushed Steel, Brushed Brass and Polished Chrome.

Staying with black? If the 1 bar requirement is a problem, the Adria and the Tivoli both run from 0.5 bar — the Adria a curved dual lever mixer, the Tivoli a single lever swan neck. The Stroud offers twin lever control with a squared spout. See all black kitchen taps, or browse the full kitchen taps range.

FAQ
How do I care for the matt black finish?
Soft damp cloth, then dry it. Mild soapy water if needed. Never bleach, limescale removers, abrasive creams or scouring pads - these dull or strip the matt coating and it cannot be restored. In hard water areas, simply drying the tap after use is the single most effective thing you can do. Matt black is more forgiving than chrome day to day because it hides water spots, but less forgiving of harsh cleaners.
Black kitchen tap with pull out spray - is the hose long enough?
The hose gives about 1.5 m of reach, which covers both bowls of a double sink and lets you fill a bucket on the floor beside the unit. Reach is more useful than most people expect: it is what makes rinsing a roasting tin or washing down the bowl practical rather than awkward.
Do you have a black kitchen tap without the pull-out?
Yes. The Tivoli is a fixed swan neck that swivels, slimmer and with fewer parts. The Adria gives you separate hot and cold levers on a curved spout, and the Stroud does the same in squared, architectural lines. The Tivoli and the Adria also run from 0.5 bar, which matters if you are on a gravity-fed supply. See them side by side in black kitchen taps. Choose this Cato if you rinse pans and clean the sink often.
Does it come in other finishes?
Yes - the same Cato body in polished chrome, brushed steel and brushed brass. Chrome is the easiest to match to existing fittings; black hides water spots best; brushed brass is the warmest.
The ETAL version lists slightly different specifications - which figures should I trust?
ETAL is ELLSI's own trademark and this is the same tap under either badge, part number PDT-000453C. Differences between listings are usually a retailer rounding or copying figures rather than a different product, and pressure ranges are where that shows up most. We work from ELLSI's own datasheet rather than another shop's page. When you are cross-checking, compare three things - the part number, the tap hole size and the spout reach - because those are what decide whether it fits your sink.
What pressure does it need, and what is included?
Around 1 bar minimum - the spray head restricts flow, so pull-outs need more pressure than fixed spouts. If you are on a gravity-fed cylinder rather than a combi boiler, check before ordering. Supplied with flexible tails and a fixing kit, fits a standard 35 mm tap hole, no waste included. Backed by a 5-year guarantee.
