Product description

Tivoli Chrome Kitchen Tap – Classic Finish, Reliable Function

Brighten your worktop with the ELLSI Tivoli, a chrome kitchen tap built around a slim swan neck and a softly rounded lever. Polished chrome is the most forgiving finish to match, sitting comfortably with stainless sinks, existing fittings and almost any worktop.

As a single lever kitchen tap it gives precise one-handed control over flow and temperature, which matters when your other hand is holding a pan. The swan neck swivel spout turns across the full width of the sink, so filling stockpots and rinsing large trays in a double bowl is straightforward.

Built on a 304 stainless steel body with a 35mm ceramic disc cartridge, this chrome kitchen mixer tap keeps working quietly for years. Ceramic discs do not wear like rubber washers, so the drip that eventually arrives on cheaper taps simply does not.

WRAS approved under certificate 2009039 and supplied with 1/2" BSP flexible tails, it fits a standard 35mm single tap hole and suits most Irish plumbing from 0.5 bar upwards — gravity-fed, combi or pressurised. The best-value chrome kitchen taps Ireland has online, delivered nationwide with same-day Dublin pickup.

Why Choose a Chrome Kitchen Tap?

Because it is the safest choice in almost every kitchen. Most Irish kitchens already have chrome or stainless somewhere — the sink, the hob, appliance handles — so a chrome tap blends in rather than committing you to a scheme. It is also the easiest finish to replace years later without redoing anything else around it.

The one trade-off is maintenance. Polished chrome acts like a mirror, so it shows fingerprints and water spots more than a brushed or matt surface. If that would bother you around a busy sink, the Brushed Steel Tivoli is the same tap in a finish that diffuses marks, and the Matt Black Tivoli hides them best of all. For a warmer, more premium look, see the Brushed Brass Tivoli.

FAQ
How can I check this is the same tap I saw branded ETAL?
Compare the part number. Every Ellsi tap carries a PDT code and this one is PDT-000057 - if the ETAL listing you are looking at shows the same code, it is the identical tap off the same production line. ETAL is a registered trademark of Ellsi Limited, the manufacturer, so it is a badge rather than a different product. Ours arrives Ellsi-branded.
What is a mono kitchen sink tap?
A mono tap blends hot and cold inside one body and delivers them through a single spout, fitting one tap hole rather than two. Nearly all modern Irish kitchen sinks are drilled for a single 35 mm hole, which is why mono mixers have largely replaced separate pillar taps. If your sink has two holes, you need pillar taps instead.
Will it work with Irish low water pressure?
Yes. The Tivoli is rated from 0.5 bar up to 5 bar, so it works on gravity-fed tanks common in older Irish homes as well as combi boilers and pressurised mains. It performs best on a balanced supply, meaning hot and cold arriving at similar pressure. WRAS approved under certificate 2009039.
Does it come in other finishes?
Yes - the same Tivoli body comes in four finishes: chrome, matt black, brushed brass and brushed steel. Chrome is the cheapest and easiest to match to existing fittings; brushed steel hides fingerprints better if that matters to you.
Chrome or brushed steel - which should I choose?
Chrome is brighter and matches the widest range of existing fittings, since most Irish kitchens already have chrome or stainless somewhere. Brushed steel is the more forgiving choice day to day - a brushed surface diffuses fingerprints and water spots where polished chrome shows every one. Same tap, same price bracket, different maintenance.
Should I get this or a pull-out tap?
Get the Tivoli if you mainly fill the kettle and wash up in a bowl - it is slimmer, cheaper and has fewer parts to fail. Get a pull-out like the Cato Chrome if you regularly rinse baking trays, wash vegetables or clean the bowl itself.
What is included and will it fit?
Fits a standard single 35 mm tap hole, supplied with 1/2" BSP flexible tails and a fixing kit. A waste is not included. Most competent DIYers fit one in under an hour with isolating valves in place.
