Brushed Brass Sink Waste – 90mm Kitchen Basket Strainer, Fits From Above

A gold tap over a plain steel plughole always looks half-finished. A brass sink waste carries the warm tone down into the bowl, so the tap and the strainer read as a pair. The finish is brushed rather than polished: a fine directional grain that softens reflections and keeps fingerprints and water spots from standing out.

Fitting follows ELLSI's Top-Fix method. The waste lowers into the 90 mm hole from above and tightens through the middle with the 14 mm socket tool included, compressing a seal that is already in place. On a finish you want to keep clean, that means no silicone squeezing out around the flange.

The flange and basket are stainless steel with a brushed brass finish, on a polypropylene body, and the 40 mm (1 ½") outlet connects to the standard trap found under kitchen sinks in Ireland. The basket lifts out by its centre knob to empty and rinse.

There is no overflow connection on this version, so it is for sinks without an overflow hole. If yours has one near the rim, the gold kitchen sink waste with overflow includes brass cover plates. The sink should be 0.5–15 mm thick at the waste hole.
