Stroud Brushed Brass Kitchen Tap – Twin Lever Control, Squared Swan Neck
Sold as the Stroud and made by ELLSI as the Eben, this is a brushed brass kitchen tap built around a squared L-shaped spout and two slim quarter-turn levers. Where a single lever blends hot and cold on one handle, twin levers give you a hot side and a cold side — the arrangement most people grew up with, in a shape that suits a modern kitchen.
Each lever on the Eben is a quarter-turn ceramic disc valve: ninety degrees from off to full, with no washer to perish and nothing to tighten down on. The spout swivels a full 360°, so it clears a second bowl or swings back against the splashback when you need the space.
The body is solid brass with a PVD brushed brass finish. PVD is a vacuum-bonded coating rather than a lacquer, which is why it resists the scratching and dulling that eventually catches up with cheaper gold-toned taps around a busy sink.
One thing to check before ordering: the Eben needs 1 bar minimum and is not suitable for gravity-fed systems. If your hot water comes from a cylinder in the hot press rather than a combi boiler or pressurised mains, choose a low-pressure tap instead — there are alternatives linked below. It stands 330 mm tall with a 200 mm spout reach, and is one of the better-looking gold kitchen tap options available in Ireland.
Features & Benefits
- Brushed brass PVD finish – vacuum-bonded rather than lacquered, so it resists scratching and dulling far better than plated alternatives.
- Twin lever control – separate hot and cold, each a quarter turn from off to full.
- Quarter-turn ceramic discs – smooth, drip-free operation with no washers to perish.
- Squared L-shaped spout – a modern take on the swan neck, with generous clearance for filling tall pots.
- 360° swivel spout – clears a second bowl or swings out of the way entirely.
- Solid brass body – substantial in the hand and built for daily use.
- Flow straightener – a smooth, controlled stream with less splashing in a shallow sink.
- Deck mounted, single tap hole – usually a direct swap for an existing mono mixer.
- Flexible tap tails included – 600 mm hoses supplied, ready to connect.
- 2 year manufacturer guarantee – handled by us here in Ireland.

Why Choose a Brushed Brass Kitchen Tap?
Because brass is the finish that makes a kitchen look chosen rather than fitted. Against white quartz it reads warm and deliberate; against dark cabinetry it lifts the whole run. A brushed surface also hides fingerprints and water spots in a way polished gold never manages.
Twin levers suit anyone who prefers separate hot and cold, and they look right on a traditional-leaning kitchen where a single lever can feel utilitarian. If you would rather have one-handed control while holding a pan, the Tivoli in brushed brass is a single lever swan neck at a lower price, and it works from 0.5 bar. For twin levers with a rounded traditional shape, see the Astrid dual lever. If you want a pull-out spray instead, the Cato in brushed brass is the one.
The Eben is made in chrome and matt black elsewhere in the ELLSI range, but we stock the brushed brass only. Kitchen sink wastes are not part of our range either, so a waste is not included and cannot be added — an existing one is normally reused. To carry the finish through the rest of the room, see our brushed brass accessories.
