What is the difference between a bathroom tap and a kitchen tap?
A bathroom tap, such as a basin mixer or bath mixer, is designed for basins or baths, with a shorter spout and lower flow rate to help reduce splashing. A kitchen tap is usually taller, with a longer reach to swing over the sink and fill pots more easily. Which finish should I choose - matt black, chrome or brushed brass?

Yes. Every IrishBath tap is rated and labelled for the pressure system it works with. We sell low-pressure taps for gravity-fed systems, common in older Irish homes, standard-pressure taps for typical mains, and high-pressure taps for combi-boiler systems. Our taps selection is made of stainless steel or solid brass with a ceramic disc cartridge and a minimum 2-year manufacturer guarantee, with up to 12 years on selected models.
