Taps Ireland - Bathroom & Kitchen Mixer Taps

Modern & Traditional Taps – Irish Bathroom & Kitchen Collection

Every tap in Ireland faces the same enemies: hard water, mixed pressure systems and a damp climate that eats cheap finishes. IrishBath.ie stocks stainless steel and solid-brass, ceramic-cartridge taps — built to handle Irish conditions for the next decade, not the next 18 months.

This collection brings together the tap range in one place: bathroom basin mixer taps, bath shower mixers and waterfall bath fillers for the bathroom; pull-out, mono and twin-lever mixers plus instant boiling water taps for the kitchen. Finishes run across matt black, polished chrome and brushed brass, so a look can be carried from one room to the next.

Shop by style and finish

Pressure comes before style

A tap rated for a combi boiler will disappoint on a gravity-fed cylinder, and that is the single most common reason a new tap feels wrong once it is in. Every product page states the minimum and maximum bar rating, the tap hole size and whether flexible tails are supplied. Check that first, then choose the finish. Boiling water taps are the strictest on this point — they need 1 bar minimum, so a gravity-fed cylinder rules them out.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a bathroom tap and a kitchen tap?
A bathroom tap, such as a basin mixer or bath mixer, is designed for basins or baths, with a shorter spout and lower flow rate to help reduce splashing. A kitchen tap is usually taller, with a longer reach to swing over the sink and fill pots more easily. They may look similar, but they are not normally interchangeable - browse bathroom taps for bathrooms and kitchen taps for kitchens.
Which finish should I choose - matt black, chrome or brushed brass?
Chrome is the safest all-round choice and matches almost any bathroom or kitchen style. Matt black gives a modern look and can help hide water marks better than polished finishes. Brushed brass, also known as gold, adds a warmer premium look. IrishBath stocks these finishes across selected bathroom mixer taps and kitchen mixer taps.
Are all your taps suitable for Irish water pressure?
Every IrishBath tap is rated and labelled for the pressure system it works with. We sell low-pressure taps for gravity-fed systems, common in older Irish homes, standard-pressure taps for typical mains, and high-pressure taps for combi-boiler systems. Check the pressure field on each product page or filter by it. The taps themselves are stainless steel or solid brass with a ceramic disc cartridge, and each product page states its own manufacturer guarantee term.
